ADHDmate is local-first. Core Tasks and Memories are stored locally on the user's device. An internet connection is required when Gemini AI processing is used.

All persistent core content—including your captured notes, structured Tasks, and Living Memories—is stored solely in a sandboxed SQLite database on your Android phone. ADHDmate does not operate remote user accounts, does not require a cloud login, and does not maintain a central server database of your thoughts.

Android's internal application sandboxing prevents other applications on your device from accessing ADHDmate's database without your explicit operating-system authorization (such as using Android system share sheets).

When you use voice dump features, audio speech-to-text conversion is handled on your device via standard Android platform speech recognition services. ADHDmate does not record, upload, or store your raw voice recordings on remote servers.

To help turn unstructured mental brain dumps into organized Tasks or Memories, ADHDmate integrates with Google's Gemini API.

• Network Transmission: When you tap to clarify a thought, the specific captured text prompt is sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API servers over secure, encrypted TLS connections.
• Personal API Key (BYOK): All requests authenticate directly using your personal Gemini API key. AngelMind AI does not intermediate, proxy, log, or inspect these communications.
• Third-Party Processing: AI requests are processed by Google in accordance with Google's Gemini API terms and the Google Privacy Policy. ADHDmate attaches zero advertising IDs, account credentials, or user profiles to these requests.

ADHDmate contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no behavioral tracking frameworks, no marketing pixels, and no third-party crash telemetry. We do not sell, rent, or trade user data under any circumstances.

Because ADHDmate does not operate a remote server database of your content, you maintain direct and immediate control over your data retention:

• Deleting Items: Deleting a Task, Memory, or capture in the application deletes it from your device's local SQLite database immediately.
• Deleting API Keys: You can modify or delete your stored Gemini API key at any time in the app settings, which clears it from secure local storage immediately.
• Application Removal: Uninstalling ADHDmate or clearing application data in Android Settings instantly and permanently erases all locally stored content from your phone.

We employ industry-standard security safeguards to protect your information:

• All external communication with Google's Gemini API enforces HTTPS with TLS encryption in transit.
• Your personal API key is stored locally within Android's secure private storage sandbox.
• On-device SQLite databases reside within the protected Android application sandbox directory.

ADHDmate is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.
